Optometrist
Dr. Joshua Spedding practices general optometry and specializes in treating patients with low vision, fitting specialty contact lenses such as sclerals, hybrids, and ortho-k, as well as seeing pediatric patients. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience. He obtained his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. He received additional training at the Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota in Edina, MN, Hoopes Vision in Draper, UT, and the Salt Lake City VA Hospital. Dr. Spedding’s professional memberships include: American Optometric Association Minnesota Optometric Association International Academy of Low Vision Specialists Scleral Lens Education Society International Keratoconus Academy of Eye Care Professionals Dr. Spedding grew up in Layton, UT and his wife is from Lakeville, MN. They enjoy spending time with family, including their twin children who keep them busy.
